Preschool / Pre-K

Pre-Kindergarten Program (2 to 5 years)

Kindergarten Readiness
We have a dedicated and well trained School Readiness Team ready and eager to work with your child. Staff work hard throughout the year to ensure that your child is highly prepared for kindergarten. In fact, our goal is to give your child the tools to have a successful journey throughout the K-12 school system and beyond! Our Pre-kindergarten staff create a learning environment that fosters the development of the social-emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child. Caring teachers strive to foster the natural joy of learning found in all children. A challenging and fun environment is created by teachers who plan a curriculum that encompasses more child-initiated than teacher-directed activities. There will be many opportunities for your child to develop problem-solving skills, a sense of adventure, curiosity and exploration. As children grow and learn they gain an increasing sense of autonomy and mastery over their environment. Self confident children become self confident learners! There are two types of pre-kindergarten programs for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years of age. This program, serves children who are one and two years away from kindergarten entry.

Full Day Pre-Kindergarten (6:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

Kindergarten Readiness
The children attending the full day program arrive according to each parent’s schedule. The children participate in a full day of developmental activities intermixed with the self help tasks for the extended day such as tooth brushing and rest time. The program is year-round with hours that provide care for working parents. The program provides an environment that enables each child to become personally and socially competent, be an effective learner, develop physical and motor skills while feeling safe and happy and making friends.
